Leaving Legacies: Alumni Dinner (2017)
Umar bin Abdul Aziz’s reign lasted less than three years. Yet, he left behind an imprint that outlasted and outclassed that of entire dynasties. What will you leave behind?
This was the question that left many students stumped. But on Saturday 25 March, we brought SUMSA’s alumni together for one last night of celebration of their success and lasting contribution to our SUMSA community.
And Alhamdulillah, what a wonderful event it was – starting with a beautiful Quranic recitation and finishing off with inspiring stories of Dawah and Ilm.
Three generations – All on one night. Inspirational speeches and timeless performances – All under one roof.
A huge thank you to our dear guests for being a part of this beautiful, warm and memorable night. We hope you enjoyed yourselves recollecting intimate memories, inspiring younger generations with your wisdom and reconnecting with old friends.
And our sincerest gratitude to all our hard working volunteers who had put in their 200%. They were the backbone of this event and after the Qadr of Allah, we wouldn’t have pulled this event off without them.
